Starting a Steam Trading user group!

Hey all. With The Escapist having such a large PC userbase and a lot of loyal Steam fans, I figured it was about time that someone start a Steam Trading user group. As far as I know, no such group exists so I went ahead and made one. Feel free to join and put up some trading offers, or take a look for that game you've been hoping to snatch up. Just click the usergroup link and there should be a join option. You can then post what you're offering/looking for in the group chat.

I've never heard of it before.

In Steam, you can trade extra copies or gift copies of your games with other users. You can also trade for TF2 items.

For example; I have an extra copy of CoD4:MW that I'm looking to trade for Bill's Hat and Anger Hood (both TF2 items).

So this user group is intended to be THE spot to go to to find other Escapist users who are looking to trade Steam games/items.

If you open up Steam and go to your Community tab, on the right hand side listed in your available options there should be an option 'View Inventory'. That'll show you everything associated with your Steam account that you are able to trade.
