I got oblivion during the summer and played it for hours but not as much as I did on the PS3 version I own (70+ hours on PS3, 13 on PC.) . I think I found the reason, I think I went sort-of Mod overload on Oblivion making the game too easy and not very fun. So I am thinking of uninstalling, oblivion, saves, mods, and reinstalling starting from a fresh-slate.

But I don't want to have no mods, no I want to have good mods that don't ruin the game and make it more fun and immersive.

Can anyone give me a list of the immersive mods and such?

and if possible could you guys give links?

Also tell me some other mods that are compatible with it, such as the Qarl texture mod is that compatible with natural wheather and such?

Mods I am downloading:

Would OOO work with these?

Qarls Texture Mod
Open citites
Bananasplit Better Cities
Music Mod
Unoffical Oblivion Mod

Get some self-control, don't take obvious gamebreaking mods. I've been in that hole, lad. I'd recommend, say, Marts Monster Mod. Something that doesn't change the game too much, really. Keep it original, clean and resist the enhanced jiggly female models.

Ah, yeah. Visual mods that change the environment itself is a great way to complement. I remember using the Natural Environments mod. (I had another environment mod that conflicted, giving me blue skies and not a cloud in the Oblivion Planes. Remember, only YOU can prevent modification conflicts.)

I've been finding the Nehrim conversion much better than the original game; you'd probably prefer it too as it looks like you've already played Oblivion for a long time.

Also, if you've been finding the modded game too easy, increasing the difficulty might help.

tried it, for some reason it changed normal oblivion and it. But when I tried the mod it, the characters eyes were looking in wierd directions and I kept getting stuck in the very start and my character couldn't move.

Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul is a must have. Outside of that, stick to a few visual mods and you should be set.

Oscuro's, plus MMM for OOO to get Martigen's creatures.

I like Qarl's Texture Pack 3, but if you don't have a beefy system it will bring it to its knees.

Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul mod is great.

Hell, go here: http://amito.freehostia.com/Oblivion/OB-mods-Part4.htm

Lots of Immersion mods.

I also recommend Immersive Interface, but I don't have the link. It allows you to customize the HUD so it's less obtrusive.

I don't know if it's exactly what you want, but I found a great guard overhaul mod back when I played (couple years ago). All it does is make the guards not psychic, leading to less frustration when you steal a guy's apple when on one's around and a guard from across the city arrests you. Sorry I don't have a link.

Try:

> Midas Magic
> The Lost Spires
> Natural enviroments
> Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul

I got a few more weapon mods, the overall feel of the game is good, but you don't feel to overpowered, especially with OOO, it's like a kick in the balls

OOO is a must have, along with some of the texture ones and this realistic weather one i used Big lightning strikes that creep across the sky.

I also used a few to make the HUD better It take away the HUGE icons for items

I also like a nice awesome castle to have as home it has its own story

It may be a good idea to take the green arrow off and dont use fast travel
