So I'm not really sure what I'm asking here, maybe I just want to get some opinions on the thoughts I've been ahving lately.

The bottom line is I have never had a girlfriend, and hope to change that at university...wow I thought there was going to be more too this...

Oh wait! There is. While I've never got anywhere with a girl, I really want a relationship, not just sex.

So yeah, advice etc, anything would help really.

don't try to hard, it's painfully obvious when you are.

the only advice I can give is that if you see a girl you're interested in go talk to her, don't over think the situation just go talk to her.

you might also want to look for get togethers, parties or clubs going on at your university since they are great places to meet people. Just step out of your comfort zone and be outgoing and people will respond.

when it comes to girls, eye contact and a smile will go a long way trust me. if you're looking for a relationship and not just sex (crazy!) try to find some common ground early and build from there.

my best advice for you would be to relax though, if you're going to get all worked up about "needing a girlfriend" in university you might miss some great opportunities.
