So, this morning I was going about my usual saturday morning wasting of time, when suddenly a memory struck me like a turtle shell hurled haphazardly towards a nearby wall. A long while ago, there was a joke on ENN, wherein they had gotten a mysterious box.
After some really terrible detective work they concluded this all to lead to the conclusion that the next Legend of Zelda game would have a horse. Of course, at the time this 'revelation' was pretty obvious; seeing as how there had been a horse in every console Zelda game for a while. Aside from windwaker anyway.
You might be asking yourself 'why does this matter?' or 'that was just a throwaway joke in a comedy sketch around 2 years old' or possibly 'what is ENN i haven't seen that in the videos page and I've been here for months'
Well, according to the totally reliable wikipedia, the next Legend of Zelda game released after that random joke was Skyward Sword. A game which randomly replaced Link's trusty steed with a bird. Did Nintendo make this change just to screw with us? Did ENN utterly fail to predict the future? What happened to all those guys who took a vacation and forgot their cell phones? Are there any other random conspiracy theories that might be amusing to hear?
Anyways, thought I might mention this and see if anyone else finds it amusing or at least vaguely interesting.
