Starwars battlefront 2

So I was on Stem earlier and I noticed one of my favorite games on the Steam sale. Starwars Battlefront 2. I used to play the game with reverse compatability on my 360 but then that bricked on me so I havent been able to play it. Anyway, my question was, do people play SWBF2 online still and would it be worth rebuying?

I gave up playing it online about eight months ago, when there were about seven servers each with two or three players in them sniping everyone as soon as they spawn, none of whom speak a lick of english and could not understand my expletives.

So, no.

I've only ever played the first one, and I absolutely adored it, it was one of my favourite games for the PS2. It really got me interested in class-based shooters.

I might pick this up, actually.

Yeah, Battlefront 3's never going to come out and theres still a decent community for the game, yeah its worth teh the money. I don't really know though..I used to play it on the ps2.

Hey, maybe Battlefront 3 will be the new Duke Nukem Forever. Apparently it's been picked up by someone else in an attempt to make it, though their plans involve around 68% less kickassly huge battles across the ground, sky and space.

Why are they failing so much at developing this game? people loved it, LucasArts needs to start giving is some of those games we really cared about, Wheres my Republic Commando Sequel damnit!.

Haven't played the multiplayer in at least a month, but when I did there were maybe twenty servers and five people playing on one server.

Unfortunately no space battle servers though. Maybe we could all get a LAN game going on Hamachi some night.

Well, if you don't count Renegade Squadron or Elite Squadron (PSP exclusives), then this was the last BF released. But I always DL the BF1 mod pack to add on to this, just to play some of my favorite BF1 maps.

i almost got it myself, but i still have the ps2 version so i decided not to, i fucking love that game, destroying whole armies of clones by yourself is kick. fucking. assss.

plus hopping in as a hero is always a good bunch of fun
