Well I thought it still hadn't happen because I didn't see much news about it, but then it did, just nothing interested me... oh well can't get them all...

Aside from games shown, something which got me really excited was the little teaser of Kojima making a new Action Espionage game ( although the release date is probably after the PS6 launches
).
I need more Metal Gear Solid-like action espionage games in my life and I can only hope that this will eventually breathe new life into other franchises that have tapered off over the years.

I think your next trailer comes out February 6th so it won't be that long. Just keep yourself busy and play something else. Have you played Tekken 8 yet?
I have not. Been playing Yakuza, and Persona 3 comes out tomorrow, and I got the GranBlue Fantasy RPG. I have like 6 JRPG's to get through still.
But I would burn them all alive for a FF7 Demo.
That being said, I'm mostly just meme-ing. I have plenty to play to keep me busy for a while.
When did that one come out? I know it's not the fighting game one that got re-released a few months ago.

Death Stranding 2 looks awesome. Shame it's another year away, I was hoping for a 2024 release. Not very much I'm looking forward to this year after FF7 Rebirth is out.
It's a gacha mobile game tie in that assume you already played the mobile version...
Oh and if the fighting game is blazblue, that just got a metroidvania game yesterday.

Not interested. I remember when Platinum was going to make a Gran Blue Fantasy game and it got canceled.
Nope, I was referring to Gran Blue Fantasy Versus. Interesting trivia though. I did not expect that.
My reaction and predictions:
Stellar Blade is going to be better than it looks. Yes it's an anime-trope filled cheese-fest but honestly that combat looks promising, something about it seems a step above the normal hack 'n' slash. IF they don't destroy the pacing with endless boring dialogue (a big IF in these games) and IF they manage to dish out variations on the combat with enemy variation and a solid distribution of skills and abilities with a decent skill ceiling, this game could be a good time. Those are two big IFs though with this genre. So what I'm saying is less a solid prediction but that it has potential to be a fun game, maybe something to buy on sale or when it's on PS+ or whatever.
Rise of the Ronin will be worse than it looks because it's basically Assassin's Creed: Wo Long. And we know folks are tired of the AC formula and Wo Long's reception was very mixed. And also we are are glutted with samurai/ninja stuff lately.

That's been going on since 2017-2020 and now. Give me more! The Shadow Of the Ninja Remake comes out this year! Good old 2D action platforming ninja goodness!
