When Bioshock first came out, I eagerly bought the Collector's Edition, and dove straight into the game. As a fan of the System Shock series, it didn't take much for me to be sucked into the series' spiritual successor.
Well, I played the game nonstop for quite a while... then my PC decided to die on me. I was quite upset, as I'd gone far along the story, and was eager to continue.
Then, we moved to a new house. Between that and the busted PC, it was more than half a year before I managed to continue my campaign. But the day did arrive.
I popped the DVD in, and was overjoyed as I got back into my game of the moment... for a whole 5 minutes. Turns out that when the computer got busted, It'd saved at the next-to-last waypoint, and that was all that was left to the story.
