So ive recently got myself Steam due to the fact that its a requarement for Shogun 2.
I loved Shogun it was a great game but i do own the collectors edition. But watching the news on steam store and all those nice promotions ive been thinking recently...
is it worth it?

My biggest concern is the lack of any....physical ownership. If you buy the game via Steam do i get access to unlimited digital downloads like with Blizzards games that i have linked in my battle.net account?

Because what happens if i change a PC or want to put the game on a different one or whatever reason that forces me to need another copy. What then?

Do i just need my account and with it i can access everything i own on it or there are some kind of restrictions and what are they?

The games are just linked to your account. Steam doesn't apply any download restrictions but individual publishers might put DRM in their own games, just like if you bought physical copies.

Nope, you can download and install them to as many PCs (or Macs if the game supports it) as you like.

It'll only let you log into Steam and play them on one machine at a time.

Some games do have their own install limits, but Valve/Steam doesn't impose any of it's own.

There's no refunds or trade-ins, so if you buy a game you should be pretty sure you'll like it.

...and be sure to keep all your games updated so you can play in offline mode. (Also, enable offline mode)

Otherwise, there can be very annoying "What do you mean I can't play this single player game without an internet connection!" moments. Thankfully, fixing the problem is as easy as checking a box in the settings menu. Or maybe it was unchecking it.
