Steam Games With Map List

Well, I reformatted to Windows 7 and installed all my steam games and a few steam mods.
All games except for TF2 and Age of Chivalry work perfectly.
TF2 and AoC both have the map list option on steam and I cant find servers on either. I can join servers that friends are on, but I cant find servers by myself..
Anyone that can help?

I tried downloading Steam, even shelling out 40 dollars for 2 games in order to try them seperately.

Sadly I could never get it to work

TF2 works fine for me and I'm on Windows 7.

I'd look around on the steam forums.
