Apparently we talk about Steam somewhat around here. So it seemed like an opportunity to make a topic. By the way, if I mostly post topics in this section, and rarely post in topics that already exist, it's not because I'm spamming. I'd just rather post my own topics.

I've got to admit, I'm not much interested in any of the Slenderman stuff that seems to be flooding Greenlight. Some of my top support games are as follows:

Project Giana
Definitely one of the best projects to ever hit Kickstarter. I'm loving how the great Giana Sisters is being revived. Giana Sisters DS is incredibly cute and I've been anticipating this on Steam since the Kickstarter Project.

La-Mulana
It's embarrassing for Steam that they didn't accept this game immediately and that it had to go through Greenlight. Because this is bar none one of the greatest Metroidvanias ever made and indeed, one of the greatest video games ever made and has earned a loyal cult following because of it. If this doesn't get Greenlighted, Steam Greenlight is officially worthless.

Higurashi When They Cry
Simply put, Steam needs more Visual Novels. And bar none, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is one of the best written Visual Novels ever created in the history of the genre. It's up there with Fate/Stay Night and Clannad. If there's any Visual Novel that needs to be on Steam, it's this. It needs to be on Steam and that is that.

Secrets of Grindea
With a lot of Western made jRPGs out there, this game looks really high quality and amazing. It looks cute and reminds of Secrets of Mana with a really good looking battle system. It kind of looks like they took and added the best aspects of an MMORPG to a Secret of Mana game instead of the worst ones. And rather it's more of an only co-op jRPG with a story than an MMORPG. I also like how it's name seems to be making a joke out of how online RPGs seems to be grindfests. Whereas this game has lots of puzzles and story and things. I saw the title and immediately though "ohh, I see what you did there."

I feel that more RPGs should try this model of in between instead of all or nothing, offline RPG with story or all MMORPG with huge servers full of users and little content.

Akaneiro Demon Hunters
I've got to admit, I'm fond of Spicy Horse Games after I thoroughly enjoyed their creation Alice: Madness Returns. I'm also a sucker for games like Okami, for all I'm aware, does not exist on the PC or Steam. Also it is Free to Play, how can I go wrong? It's not like I'll have to pay for it if it is bad. So, I really want to see this game and try it out.

Bunny Must Die! Chelsea and the 7 Devils
I must admit, this game isn't quite, quite as good of a game as La-Mulana. It's still a really great Metroidvania nonetheless and a doujin classic. There's a portion of the monsterously huge Touhou fanbase that has been made aware of this game, I am one of them. And thus, I have already played it and find it amazing. Many of you may have not, however. But this game is amazing and you should support it. I also think you will find that it has a gigantic cat boss and you must buy.

Project Sarah
I've got to admit, I'm a sucker for platformers and female protagonists. And Project Sarah has both. It also looks like a quality platfomer. I also can't deny that I'm a sucker for those Yume Nikki-esque item effects.

Castle in the Darkness
And this, period, looks like one of the best platformers and adventure games that have ever seen Greenlight. Maybe even Steam itself. It's a beautiful homage to the gameplay of multiple classic video games like Castlevania. Yeah, the whole damsel in distress thing is a bit of a sexist cliche. But oh how nostalgic this game is. The gameplay looks amazing and like the perfect sort of game to follow up playing something like Cave Story with. Also, that music. So amazing. I need this.

Tower of the Gorillion
Not quite as amazing looking as Castle in the Darkness put still looks super amazing. It looks like a Game Boy classic we all wish we had. Plus, thanks to the PC, no need to share at a tiny Game Boy screen! It is a win-win scenario. And I want to play it! It looks so good.

And, ...there's some more. But these are pretty much my favourites. Enough talk, have at you!

I played the early version and it's hilariously brilliant.
