Hello, so as you can guess from the title i've had my Steam account hacked, not only that but they've hacked my hotmail account as well, now im wondering what i can do to solve any of this. Of course i'd rather have my account back but i was hoping that if not that, that there is anyway of blacklisting this account so that none in my Friends list will have to suffer this ethier? Thanks.

any pushes in the right direction are appreciated.

UPDATE:

Got my billing information to prove i am the owner of the account however im not sure how to submit a ticket or what it means about this is my hotmail has also been hacked

'lo Panda.

Hair, Vulg and I already reported the account to STEAM saying it was hijacked when we first noticed in the Morning. Now all you have to do is go there: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2347-qdfn-4366 and report it to STEAM. Even if your hotmail was hacked as well, VALVE is pretty decent at helping you get it back. Just be persistent and don't panic.

Also: Virus Scan, Virus Scan, Virus Scan. Unless you fell for a scam or have really easily cracked passwords (which I would advise changing immidiately), you might have a Trojan lurking on your disc. If you need more help, just contact me on Skype.

Just a friendly bump, also, do you have any idea where the person who hijacked your account got it from? Did you enter your info on a scam site? If not, do as the Taffer says and scan until you find something.

Yeh, sit tight. It shouldn't take them long... my personal experience was all within the 12hr window.

Don't panic. Might be they deactivated the account because of the reports of it having been hijacked.

It serves me well, there's a thin crack down the side of it so i drink from it while its inside a bigger mug and then drink the spillage from the bigger mugh xD

Alls quite on the eastern Steam front, i do wonder if they've even looked at it yet, i replied to my own question with A picture of a retail Purchased steam game with the CD-KEY and the Ticket CD-KEY written on it too, im thinking surely this is enough information? i have this AND my billing information, dont know why they haven't looked at it yet.
