Heres the problem; I had Steam open just browsing the deals, then suddenly my internet cuts. Well, i fix it, and i'm still offline, so i hit the sign in button. It takes me to where i type my username and password, where i do.

But then it comes up with a message saying "Please verify your humanity by re-entering the characters below." In a big red box. So i'm like "oh, it has a captcha too... fine" but i look for it and, there's nothing. There is no box with text for me to write on, and no-matter how many times i refresh or retry, it doesn't appear.

Anyone else had this problem? and how to fix?

I'm not aware of any captcha associated with Steam login, but it could be what you're seeing is the Steam Guard thingy, whatever it's called. Essentially, if it thinks you're logging in from a new computer or IP or anything along those lines--rightly or wrongly--it will send an email to whatever email is tied to your account with a short little code generally consisting of a few letters and numbers. Then you enter that and it'll let you log in.

That's the only thing I can think of that it might be, otherwise I dunno. I also don't know why it would ask that if you were just on and got disconnected, but I won't pretend I know anything about Steam software and how it reacts to certain situations.

My advice? Just go to the Steam support and see if they can help you. It'll take a day to get a response and you have to make a separate Steam Support account (yeah, I don't get this either), but they're a lot more likely to be able to help you.
