I took advantage of the Deal of the Week and bought the Total War pack (Rome, Rome:Alexander Medieval II, MII:Kingdoms, Empires), and after download I realize that only three of them are playable! When I try to start any of the MII games, it just says "starting game", and then shuts off half a second later. What the hell? I always thought that the main advantage of Steam over piracy, except the fact that it is legal, is that you are guaranteed the games will work!
Anyone have any clues why? The other games run fine.

I've had this happen before for some older games I purchased on Steam. My problem was solved by uninstalling the game and then just simply re-downloading it from Steam. I had that issue when I bought the older versions of Red Faction.

So uninstall the two games? Hmm..How do I do that from steam, tho? Just delete its files?
Right click a game in your steam list and hit delete local game content or w/e

Fuhnny. When I try it says I can't, because the game is running. When I check processes on the computer, it has to record of the game running. Relaunching steam to see if it helps.

Edit: Did not work either. Nor did it work by restarting the computer..
