steam password help

i have the general idea of the password but not the exact password

i am trying to recover it but i have yet to get a email. and the email is verified to my knowledge

how long does it take to get the email. would ask this on steams forums but i don't know the password to log in.

Your Steamworks account and Steam forums account are 2 different accounts.

You don't log into the Steam forums with your Steam ID and password, you have to make a separate account, so you should be able to make a new account for the Steam forums and post your questions there.
