Since the L4D2 update, I can't play it because every time I click play. It says "Incomplete installation of Left 4 Dead 2 (42)".
Anyone else having this problem?
EDIT: I verified my game cache already, and I restarted Steam, and my computer already.

Check the cache integrity.

L4D2 > Right-click > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

If that doesn't come up with anything then redownload it.

As mentioned in another thread, I've had my Steam account "disabled" for months now, without explanation or justification, despite the fact that I buy all my games and despite repeated requests for an explanation. That was the final nail in the coffin as far as my PC gaming is concerned.

So no, you're not alone.

Have you tried Verifying the Integrity of the Game Cache?
That is most likely your problem.

EDIT:If it isn't delete the game files and re-download.

On a side note: anyone know how to bypass UDP to get Steam to work? My university doesn't have those ports (netstat displays nothing) and I can't connect to Steam...
