It must be unfortunate to be so good at a game that you have to quit. That would be like baking the most delicious cake in the world and not being allowed to eat any of it. A lot of Dota playing in the past few messages, I just can't seem to get into that game. Left 4 Dead 2, Fantastic, I miss playing that, I never had the opportunity to purchase it via steam and have instead played on the 360.

Amusingly, my top 10 hours-in-game games...possibly even more than 10...aren't on Steam. And thank god. At least this way I can pretend to be relatively sane.

Relative sanity is of no value here, we are all on this site to be insane together, should you choose to be a multi-niche fitting individual, that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice gaming as your entertainment, just use it to supplement the times that you aren't doing other "sane" things. If you don't mind my asking, what are the other games?

I racked up that 1000 hrs in about a year and stopped playing lol. really was a great game but hard to get into matches because of ping issues.

Unfortunate about the latency issues, a lot of people seem to have them almost sporadically, that's quite a chunk of time to dedicate to gaming within a single year, and to that I tip my hat. (If I had one)

Yes. He has a full time job and then manages to play DOTA like a full time job. I sometimes don't get that guy.

Sounds like a person who has their priorities in order, they know what they have to do to maintain their hobby, and have the finances from said dedicated time to support it, and be involved in it as much as they want.

Sorry to hear that you aren't able to game as much, I hope you find the time, we all need the escape sometimes, it's good to have the stress relief.
