Yeah, I saw. Bought the Witcher Enhanced Edition for £3.75
Dibs on that! I can play it later (I've got too many games now, really). I still haven't finished all the games I bought during the last Christmas Sale. Gods that was insane.
Y'know, I feel kinda wrong getting the game that cheap. Maybe I should send CD Projekt a fiver.

Also, I love the little warning at the top.

"WARNING: Riding a bike is dangerous and can result in groin pain, injury, or death."

Is it wrong that I read these warnings in the voice of Glados?

On top of the usual sale deals, Valve is going to be selling games at insanely cheap prices in 24-hour deals. Today's list includes:

? BioShock 2 - $14.99 (reg $29.99)
? Trine - $4.00 (reg $19.99)
? Killing Floor - $5.00 (reg $19.99)
? Aion - $19.99 (reg $39.99)
? Colin McRae DiRT 2 - $10.00 (reg $39.99)
? Overlord Complete Pack - $4.50 (reg $29.99)
? Counter-Strike: Source - $6.80 (reg $19.99)
? Unreal Deal Pack - $13.60 (reg $39.99)
Those were actually yesterday, ended 2 hours ago... Unless they end at different times for different time zones?

Edit: Ninjas... >_>
Thanks for the head's up. Those were the games listed at the time I wrote the article; I've gone back in and updated the post with today's list :)

I love the warnings on the top and bottom of the sale page. Why is Valve so awesome? I'm still trying to figure it out.

It sucks that I missed yesterday's sales; I was really hoping to get BioShock 2 cheap. Oh well. I'd pick up RE5, but I already played it and the PC version doesn't have the expansions that the consoles got as DLC.

For anyone who's interested, Indigo Prophecy (by the same people who made Heavy Rain) is only $3.39. Ghostbusters is also only $4.00.

I've never heard of that game. Is it new?
You know, you try to update an article so it's got some more relevant information, and people just ***** ***** *****. ;)

So many people are taking part in this that the servers are too busy for me to download the game I just bought.

Dammit I've got 85 games on my Steam account, and I sense I'm going to break the hundred before this month is up.

I've done one thing as a nod towards sensible spending however. I've gone thru and made a list of the games I'm interested in buying, then I'll buy them if they show up on the daily sales. If they don't then, well, I'll buy the leftovers on the last day of the sale, so I don't buy something at £10 to see it drop to £3 the day after :D

Also, Puzzle Kingdoms, the sequel to Puzzle quest? £15.99 down to 80 pence (95% off!) ? AVP for 80 pence? how can you not?

Witcher is £5.45, and I can get it on disc delivered for a fiver, but balls to that, as Steam is so much more convenient than messing with discs.
