Maiden Cops is on sale right now. I'll be picking that up when I get home from work along with a few other things. I finally found some sales I'm interested in purchasing now. I'm telling you this on my phone and it won't let me go through the link because of its subject matter.

Let me know what you think about it. I played a demo of it before it released and didn't like how it felt, felt stiff and kinda weird to play, but I hear it got some patches to help things.

I heard from the second reviewer. That movement is a bit stiff but, they more than likely patched that out by now.

I just love how this game is actually a shout out to Undercover Cops. They even do to support beam weapon pick up. This game is more or less a spiritual successor to UC.

Other than the Castlevania Dominus Collection, which I mentioned in my first post out of three (so far) in this thread, I also got myself a couple of other games that now that I've played them a bit I can strongly recommend to others as well:

Shogun Showdown is not a deckbuilder roguelike. It may look like one and have some superficial elements of one, but it's closer to a game like Into the Breach, though it's also a fair bit faster and easier to understand than ItB. It has a demo if you really want to test the waters before buying it, but if you like turn-based tactics at all, I'd definitely give this one a go. It looks great, it's easy to approach, but there's just so many situations created by the simple set of actions.

If you have Vampire Survivors, get the Castlevania DLC. I admit I haven't played the other DLC maps so I don't know how it stacks up against them, but the new map and the new characters are just so much fun to play around with, and the remixed CV music is top tier.

Its pretty cool and I am very much enjoying it.

Its pretty cool, plays well, does feel like it was intended for a handheld, which it was, but they made it work well on steam, even though there are some annoyingly blind jumps at time, but you can slow fall which I tend to forget exists.

This is one of those that initially felt kinda ehh to play but after playing a bit, its really good.

Only played a little of this so far, but its pretty awesome, puts me in mind of Legend of Zelda 2, which was totally underrated.

Meh, I like the graphics but so far the platforming, which is all the game is, isn't doing it for me.

Haven't tried these 2 yet.

@Worgen, here's all of the patch updates from last month on Maiden Cops.

List of Improvements:

1. New action mappings – You can now configure buttons for the actions: Block, Release Grabbing Opponent, Collect Item, and Throw Weapon, providing more control for players.
2. Camera bug fix – Resolved the issue where the camera would get stuck when destroying rolling barrels off-screen.
3. Medal preview – You will now see the required value to achieve each medal on the payment screens at the end of each stage.
4. Parry system in the tutorial – The parry system is now part of the tutorial, helping new players get familiar with the mechanic.
5. Motorcycle stage shortened – The motorcycle stage has been shortened to keep the gameplay fast and dynamic.
6. More life items in stages – There are now more collectable life items throughout the stages, with special attention to the motorcycle stage.
7. Full health at the start of each stage – The protagonists now start each stage with full health.
8. Camera bug fix with throwing enemies – Resolved the issue where the camera would freeze when defeating certain knife-throwing enemies.
9. Adjustments to Maiden Justice achievements – Maiden Justice, Maiden Justice+, and Maiden Justice++ achievements now count all attacks (basic, with weapons, and special) for defeats.
10. Meiga’s Holster and weapons – Meiga can now use regular melee weapons, not just Heavy Weapons.

I know you finished up your sale, but you gotta try Victory Heat Rally! It is one of the best arcade racers I'm playing right now! Especially if you're a lover of old school racing games. It plays like a Sega arcade racer and has a soundtrack that is like a combination of Jet Set and Sonic.
