Not to mention how she likes to nitpick and often when applying the feminist theory(to which is meant to be a school of thought, not an actual application to every aspect of life) applies it to everything and finds ghosts where none exist. The point of a philosophy or school of thought is meant to engage thought about the subject where the content and school of thought constantly challenges itself when approached with new situations. It's not meant to be a tool where you can damn all content through that single lens because often it will cause you to miss the bigger picture.
Agreed, and I think this is at the heart of why I dislike her videos. For example, in her Destructoid interview she criticizes Gravity Rush for its main character wearing a skirt and heels. Ironically, this same character, Kat, remarks that she enjoys dressing up that way. So this leaves us with two conclusions: either the game really is giving off subtle sexism by putting Kat in a skirt or Anita is trying to throw her opinion on fashion into her tropes argument, which like mixing oil and water.

Irony is a feminist telling girls how they should dress.

I'm not one to "this", but thiiiiiiiiiiiis.

Seriously, that drawing is awesome and we need it with as big a resolution as possible. I will make it fit my monitor. I will get a bigger monitor if I have to.

Kinda sad that it is not true...

Could we get the first image as a wallpaper? It is too awesome to be left alone...

That...would work.

No seriously, it's not just over the top ridiculous fun. Think about it. Punk genres generally go into advancing technology along side societal decay. The main characters are generally on the periphery of society where advancing technology has given them the ability to challenge the social norms. Don't you think that women in the Victorian era MIGHT have an interesting perspective on that? Zombies not only compliment social decay quite nicely (And the novel, "Boneshaker" already explores the idea of steampunk feminists versus zombies to an extent), but provides plenty of opportunities to explore the breaking down of gender roles and accepting other peoples differences, where it doesn't matter is the person holding the pneumatic powered rifle is black, muslim, or a woman because they just killed a zombie that was about to bite you.

Plus, you know that the thing in the back of everyone's mind during a zombie apocolypse is repopulating the human race. Talk about some interesting explorations of gender politics. Plus, steam powered zombie killing, where zombies rarely are found outside of a contemporary setting.

This is actually a really good idea.

Yeah, if you're going to try making something that looks immediately terrible, giving it awesome concept art isn't a good idea. I would absolutely play a Left 4 Dead mod of this.

I mean, if it looked more like the Strong Female Characters Kate Beaton draws sure, but right now even if it is just thoughtless buzzwords, the execution looks too good to mock.

Mr. Carter.
Your jib is only matched by your deviance.
I'd dare you to put that concept up on Kickstarter, just to see what would happen.

No, no, no, no, you can't do this to me.
You can't keep moving from predictable pseudo-drama crap about an unlikeable character, to amusing and clever one-shots of videogame humour.
Yes I can.

I've no doubt many a guy is also riding the feminism train of late to score points with the opposite sex, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
Or maybe they're doing it just to avoid the fierce social pressure and vitriol that follows if they don't?
