Lets stereotypes that I get lumped into that irk me.
Irk #1: Yes, I was born in Iran, no that does not mean my family or I are terrorists. This happened to an uncle of mine who had a successful law firm back in the 90's have some guy come out and plainly state because he was from Iran that automatically made him a terrorist. My uncle could barely stand to watch actual blood from a cut or injury was labeled a terrorist. And no I don't support the government of Iran cause, like certain "I'm an REAL AMERICAN" politicians here, their full of hot air liars that love power.
Irk #2: Yes, I'm male, yes I do like women, no that doesn't automatically mean I am trying to get into a girls pants when I am being nice to one. I'm nice to men too and to most folks in general unless I'm driving or you tick me off than all bets are off.
Irk #3: Yes, I like games of all varieties from cards, consoles, boards, PC, puzzles, to MMO's and Pen and Paper games. That does not mean I am a shut-in with no friends or life nor do I live in the basement of my parents home. And no Mr. Thompson none of my years of playing violent video games turned me into a antisocial killing machine ready to commit a Columbine or Virginia Tech rampage at the drop of a hat. I learned the difference between reality and fantasy early on in life.
Irk #4: Yes, I work in the IT field. No, that does not mean I have a knack at fixing anything electronic, I just read the instructions. Also, that does not mean I am willing to give you free technical support 24/7/365, I do that at work because they PAY me. However if your willing to provide me with food, drink, and some entertainment (not necessarily in that order) than I might feel obligated to give you a hand.
Irk #5: Yes, I like manga and anime probably because unlike western comic books some of them have a definite beginning, middle, and end. No that does not mean I have an anime pillow case, nor do I inject random japanese phrases into my speech, and once again I am not a shut-in otaku with no social skills.
Phew that felt good. Carry on citizens!
