Steve McNair, former NFL MVP, Oilers/Titans and Ravens quarterback was found shot to death on the Fourth of July. For those who do not follow football, for whatever reason, McNair was the model athlete-citizen. He was an absolutely amazing player, a rags to riches player who never made headlines for a bad reason. With all the NFL players doing moronic things, McNair always rose above all that crap to not only be a great player, but a fantastic human being. Even as an Eagles' fan, I will miss him.
Rest in Peace, Steven McNair, you were taken too soon and in a horrible fashion I fail to comprehend.

One of the guys at my job suggested that the world would be coming to an end soon. That seems like a viable suggestion. Mine, however, was slightly more paranoid.

I suggested that all these celebrities dying was a clever attempt to spur the global economy back into growth by killing celebrities and selling tickets to their funerals.

While McNair was killed by multiple gunshots, the woman found with him was found with a single gunshot wound and a handgun nearby, so the general speculation is that she killed him then herself, but I really want to know the motive for this, because I had never heard a bad word about the guy. Plaxico getting shot I would understand, but McNair just baffles me.
