What companies do you boycott and why?

McDonald's and most other fast food restaurants - Employment, environmental, health, and advertising reasons as described in Fast Food Nation

Wal-Mart - Employment, slave labor and predatory pricing.

Coca Cola-Murders workers and supports para military groups.

Dole bananas - Poison their workers.

Chiquita banana- Supports dictatorships, hired CIA to overthrow democratically elected governments, murders employees.

Abricambe and Fitch - Slave labor, questionable advertising.

Most clothing - Slave labor.

Nestle - Really really bad Chattel slave labor.

Exxon - oil spill.

Fox News - Rupert Murdoch

Nike - Child slave labor.

Plenty more I can't think of right now.

As for companies...none, really. I guess I don't go to Albertson's that often, mainly because Vons is closer.

I try to avoid purchasing new copies of games published by Activision, for reasons most people are probably aware of. I also boycott California cheese, because the best cheese comes from Wisconsin. And so do happy cows.

I don't actively boycott any company.
I mostly buy cheap discounter stuff anyway, though, so I dunno who really produced it (they stick no-name labels on so they can sale it cheaper).

From those on your list:
I hate McDonalds for the quality of their food and I'm not a big fan of Burger King, either. Sometimes I go to Subways, though.
I prefer Pepsi's taste over Coca Cola and it's cheaper.
There's no Wal-Mart or Fox where I live.
Nestle is too expensive.
