Having not played either Mass Effect game, I'm totally confused.

Are you able to play a female character, or is Shamus' hilarious gender-bending the closest I'll ever get?

PS Now I think I'll go Photoshop some Lara Croft images - give her a crotch bulge, just to amuse myself.

Basically at the start of ME2, your character gets alittle...well, dead. Then they do the six-million dollar man thing of rebuilding him. Though apparently they where improving him slightly if Shamus is right XD
