I haven't had a jarring voice clash with Tycho (cause I haven't heard him speak) but I did with you Shamus. Being British I read your columns in a vaguely English accent, which made it very strange when I watched Spoiler Warning and you spoke with an American accent...
I believe the one I imagined for you is much nicer and less confusing for me. Please use it

You may have a valid point. However, I bet a lot of people (myself included) bought it for the writing, not the poker game itself. Hell, I barely know how to PLAY poker, and I was all over this. Why? Because it's cheap, and it's funny.

This game when i 1st seen it,i thought it would have multiplayer and more i guess i am wrong.As a avid team fortress 2 player i think this was mainly for "item porn" also max gun the lugermorph been giving away before as a promotion for Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse iirc

With the pre-order TF2 shinies no longer present, my interest in this purchase has waned.

Do have to point out that you've missed out on a shiny (namely the Poker Cap). Anyone who buys this game (and registers it on Steam) can get five TF2 items.

Really funny game, haven't actually played it yet myself, I've watched a ton of YouTube videos revealing all the best lines, so I have a feeling I wouldn't get much value out of the game at this point.

It was weird listening to Tycho talk at first, but I think the voice suits him.

You get the unlocks for buying? I was under the impression they were pre-order bonuses like DoucheStop does for every big game release.

You win them. Occasionally, one of the characters didn't bring enough money so they put their item up for collateral.

You pictured Gabe, the hyperactive, impulsive, "funny-guy" of the series, with the deep, serious voice of Spike Spiegel? I'll have to go back and read some of the comics with that voice in mind, cuz I have a feeling it'll weird me the f*** out.

Tycho's voice had more of the Blum feel to it. Not over the top cartoon-y, but not so gritty as to disappear into the likes of Alex Mercer or another of Yahtzee's "gargles with gravel"-type characters. The voice seems educated, jocular when needed, disarmingly sarcastic, and like he enjoys the sound of himself talking. Tycho's a literary buff, and the straight man (usually) of the pair, so I was pretty pleased with his voice

Gabe...hmmmm....Alton Brown? Howzat?
