Is it just me or is the armor reminiscent of Warhammer 40k?

I played offline co-op with a friend, and the bots and my friend more or less simulated the online experience =P

this experience with online players also explains why I even bothered using the sniper in Halo 3 lol never was a sniper before but I decided I couldn't be any more useless with it (still not doing anything montage worthy with the sniper, but I'm patient and helpful for the team lol)
