It's the second one where things really pick up and get more fun and interesting. The game really, really encourages players to experiment, and the best part is that it almost always works. Crysis does not do everything right, but when it does do things well, it does them really, really damn well.
Specially if you are on the "I don't pirate" side of morality. In that case, you have to wonder wether or not you will buy the game. The demo is the best media to show it to us, and no one should be influenced, after playing a bad demo, by the promise: "But the next levels are awesome".
Specially since I heard that it's the last levels of Crysis who are the worst/most boring.
