Story Time Escapist!

Let's have some fun! I would like to create a short story with the help of the minds on the Escapist. I'm going to write one line, and the next poster has to continue where i left off. The next poster continues where the previous poster left off etc etc. Just one line per post and if you come up with another good one feel free to post again. Though I'm not actually using the story but I've come to love and appreciate the the wit of this site and I wanna see what you guys are made of..here we go!
