I can't help but scratch my head at this. I've never understood the mentality that they seem to be pushing for Mass Effect 3. "The end of the trilogy is the PERFECT place for new players to get into the Mass Effect universe." And they're doing it again here.
I'm sorry, but unless you have the original Mass Effect save data, then carried it over to Mass Effect 2, then carried that over to Mass Effect 3, you're getting an incomplete game. Yes, it's still playable and enjoyable, but even on the PS3 versions of Mass Effect 2 and 3, things were missing from them. At least PS3 players got Mass Effect 2 to help, but the Wii U will have only Mass Effect 3, and I feel the game will suffer for not having the other games' data.
The only people I can see buying this are fans of the series, who will probably already have a copy and therefore see no reason to buy it. I could be completely mistaken though, as I place a high value on the complete story and others may only want it for the multiplayer.
