"Strange" College Room

Over this week, I've had several people visit my room. Noteworthy to me, because its more people than have visited my in my room in my entire sophomore and freshman years combined. Most were of no note, except for two.

One was a guy coming over to see if he could borrow a broom. When he returned it, other than just a simple "Thanks", he also said "Hey man, your room is kind of strange." When I asked why, he couldn't say, other than he just felt it was strange.

The next was noteworthy for two reasons. The first being it was the first time a woman has ever come to my dorm room for anything. She had come to borrow my Psychology and the Law book, and when she got here she sat down on my bed to rest, since she had just gotten down exercising in the gym. While in my room she exclaimed that I had one of the cleanest college dorm room she'd ever seen. I didn't believe her, considering that there are at 2,100-ish students here alone. But she insisted, and left with my book later.

Now while I can't go dragging people into to my room to ask them what they think of it, I know that the Escapist has plenty of opinions to share, and I don't actually have to bring you to my room to show you. So I took three pictures to show my room, and I want to know what you think.

Also, it gives me reason to mess with my new iPod Touch, so there is that too.

NOTE: No, there is no alcohol in those boxes. They're cans and bottles of Arnold Palmer Iced Tea+Lemonade. And there is none in my room anywhere else, either. And there is no body in the trunk.

My room is similarly neat and orderly (except for a few things sitting out on my desk), so I don't see anything wrong with that aspect. As for the first guy, I'm not sure what he meant, as I don't see anything unusual.

I was half way expecting a creepy pasta and have something jump out of one of the pictures, but honestly it just looks like a small cramped, rather clean college dorm.

I mean, I don't think it's that strange, but it's definitely neater than my dorm room was (and neater than my apartment now).

That's neater then my room and I have less stuff then you do.

And judging by the pics, the rooms are about the same size, with yours maybe being a lot smaller. ...Damn, I'm a messy guy.

But just looking at those hideous yellow walls, that bland, khaki tiles.... I can smell the estrogen of my ol' dorm room.

But yes, it is a nice single. I always kept my room neater when I was in a single.

Damn. My room looks positively wrecked, what with the bed in disarray, the clothes on the flor, the instruments and airsoft weapons strewn about, the cables spread across everything...

My roommate was very tidy. In fact, a little *too* tidy. When I finally saw a pile of her laundry on the floor, I think I came a little.

It was just so unexpected. It was the closest I ever felt to being bi-curious. I often wondered if she tastes like cherry chap stick...

First of all, that is one amazingly awesome poster.

Second, I can't notice anything 'strange' about your room, to be honest, looking at these pictures. Though it is alarmingly neat. And this coming from a guy, me, who tries to stay neat and organised all the time, and who prides himself on being clean even though he (well, me) is a student...

OT: That's really neat. Though, it does seem a little "off" in a Twin Peaks sort of way.
It just doesn't seem right. Have you gotten one of those ghost-hunter's EMP detectors?
