Strange Holiday Traditions

Every year when I decorate the tree with my family, we play the lion king soundtrack on surround sound throughout the house. What are your weird holiday traditions (not necessarily Christmas related)?

What's up with that? Who relates songs to birthdays? Makes no sense...

Nothing special. Just all the traditions that go with Christmas(although we are having a chinese this year instead of a christmas dinner

Placing a dead tree in the living room, annointing it with flashing lights and round glass balls, and hiding gifts underneath it.
