I dont play very many fighting games, the last one i played was Mortal Kombat Vs Dc, and that game was ass. Anywho, its been a year or so, so i figure its time to give a new fighter a try. Street Fighter 4 looks interesting, but is it still fun if you dont really know what your doing? Ive never played a street fighter game, i usually stick to Mortal Kombat or Soul Calibur. street fighter seems quite a bit different from those two. do you think i would enjoy it? If not can you recommend something? On PS3 or 360, those are the systems i have. Thanks

I can tell you a truly accessible fighter if you got a Wii...

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom

As for SF4, I'm holding out two months for Super Street Fighter 4, so idk how it is. But seriously. Hold out for SSF4 if you decide you want this after all.

No. No no no no no. You really have to practice A LOT against bots and people. And practice means special attacks, ultra combos and counters/tech moves. When I had it, I NEVER WON AN ONLINE MATCH except against my friends. Yet despite this, I wouldn't mind Super Street Fighter 4.

The bots were extremely hard for me even on normal setting. I don't really play it, only my brother does, and he got much better with alot of practice. Combos is the way to win, such as a light punch followed by a hadouken or whatever that fireball is called.

I'm pretty sure if you put it on the easiest setting, you could get pretty good at it.

It's an entertaining game even if you suck at it like I do. But I know I'm missing out on a lot of the depth. You could definitely do worse than SF4, if you see it selling cheaply I'd definitely recommend it. Or maybe try before you buy, if possible.

It took me roughly half a night to pick a character, and master it to the point where I can pull of her Sc/Uc and most other combs on a steady basis (excluding aerial moves, but I suspect the problem lies not with me, but with keyboard controls) - While i found my ass getting handed to me, even on easisest when facing seth for the first time, I actually find Sf4 quite accessible, especially when you already played fighting games (or at least don't play with a keyboard). Some characters are harder to master than others, but in the end, if everything fails, you can still take Dhalsim / Zangrief / Blanka and still be succesful...
