I love it and hate it.
I love the character design, except I hate the Blanka design.
I love the selection of characters but hate that they left DeeJay out. (also Garuda woulda been awesome to bring back)
I still love Akuma, but now hate that they've made his ultra one of the easiest to dodge in the game.
I love all the titles, the sense of humour used and that, but i hate the fact that you gotta pull off retardly hard combos for some of em.
I love lamp!

I honestly thought the game was way too easy. I rented it and 3 hours later had unlocked all characters. It's not a bad game by any means but I still fell like it could have been better. I think fighters might be dying...

U say that akumas ultra is to easily dodged but thats the point its the strongest finisher in the game and hits the most as it is a 27 hit combo and it will guarantee to take at leat of yar opponents health, anyway akuma is best character in game well thats my opinion

I dunno, Rose's one is fairly easy to get off, about as powerful, but much easier to land (ive tried jumping out multiple times only to have it clip my toe and suddenly cut to it wrapping around my wrist -.-). akuma's one on the other hand is trivialised. i mean ive done it as people were in the process of standing up, and it'll slide into them, doesnt grab them, just pushed them back. i prefered ultra's when they were fast, none of this big exagerated crap in front of em. made them far more dangerous in games.

from a damage point of view, rose is very close. Vega does about the same. gouken, chun li and cammy are close behind. i havent sat down and compared the damage, but it doesnt seem that much more powerful from the ones that are miles easier than his to land.

i aint gonna stop usin him, unless Garuda is added in the future

In every SF game Ive played with Akuma in it, he is cheap. I have nothing but contempt for akuma players online. If you like the move set use ken or ryu instead of someone so unbalanced.

Anything that weakens akuma is a good thing.

Play it drunk with 6 or 7 mates and see the novices beat the crap out of the hardcore, it is at that moment the most fun game ever made lol

My biggest issue with it is the lack of goddamned sticks/pads to play it with. The 360 analogue stick sucks balls when it comes to double-fireball movements, and is even worse for charge characters, because the accuracy sucks and it takes an age to return to the neutral position.
All that means I mostly play as akuma since his ultra is the only one actually doable in a decent space of time. Don't get me started on the hard combos, most of them don't even seem possible on a standard pad.

I agree with what some other guy said in a different thread; they should have bundled the game with a controller, or at the very least made sure there was a decent supply of them for the launch. As it is, unless I can get a stick I'll soon get pissed off and never put it in the drive again.

Two Points to raise here:
1) That his hilarous i love it when people say thay goy owned by someone who has never played it lol.
2) I do agree that the 360 joypads sucks balls when it comes to sf4 and yes they should of put a joystick wiv the special edition, and the comopany who produced the joystick did mess up slighty when it came to the amount of joysticks they produced, but i hav found out they re opening the production line for the joysticks so more are in the process of getting done.

How could fighters be dying because you unlocked everything? Street fighter was never about boatloads of content. Unlocking everything works in your favour because then you play online with others and could fight a broader range of people. If you want a deeper game go for Soul Calibur or Smash Bros.

What I do think is bullshit however, is the downloadable content in the form of costumes, if you have to pay for it, because I am pretty convinced that they would have held it back purposely for that reason. Remember when games didn't have DLC, and had to come packaged with everything attached?
