To put in context

Fox compaired Obamas and Michells fist bump to "A Terrorist Fist Bump"

So on the day of Obamas election me and my friends went around school giving out Ironic Terrorist Fist Bumps of Victory."

I actually take time out of my day to humor myself with bias writing. I like in Michigan so I read the Detroit Free Press (very democratic) and the Grand Rapids press (Mildly Republican). It's rather fun to read two articles portray the same bill or legislation in two completely different ways.

Actually, the GOP intitially did oppose TARP for the most part, the only real exception being Bush himself. If you'll remember, TARP was intitially shot down in the House because the overwhelming majority of Republicans and enough Democrats voted against it; it was only after a re-submission of the legislation and a lot of public pressure (thanks especially to the Dow taking that 700 point plunge) that the GOP generally agreed to go along with it.

So, to be fair to the Fox News crowd, they could be forgiven for that. I'm definitely not one of those ultra-conservative types but I too incorrectly remembered how things went down at first before I looked it up to verify. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt; although the rest of the survey does make it tempting to be unsympathetic. I guess I'm in a good mood.

Faux Noise is lying?! NEWS TO ME! *laugh laugh snort*
On a serious note, media networks support either the left or right. And while Fox is a dirty propaganda machine, so are the others in their own ways.
The above can also be used as one of Fox's 'meshing' tactics. Just a lil FYI.

Yes fox tends to be more right wing, cnn, msnbc any host of newspapers, all tend to be left leaning.

You could forge a study that says all left wing media makes people stupid.

Or you could just tell the truth any person that blindly follows one political party's "spin" aka lies no matter what is a wholly ignorant of the truth of most things.

Then you would be onto something.

Big surprise there, of course any journalistic integrity FOX may have had sorta disintigrated when they claimed that Mass Effect was a hardcore pornography simulator.
At least that's when I learned to never trust anything they say ever.
Yeah, I never watched them (and still haven't) but that's when I knew that I hated them and everything they love/represent.

This study says pretty much every major news organization is filled with shit, Fox news is just filled with slightly more.

Did you even read the article?

It has nothing to do with Liberals and Conservatives, it has everything to do with the fact that bias and extreme news sells.

I live with a Faux Noise nut. (My roommate's father.)

He had a heart attack about a year ago. After recovery, he was told he could go back to work. He decided he didn't like that too much and applied for SS. They turned him down when his doctor told them he could still work. So...He got a lawyer and argued with them until they caved.

He moved in with us so he wouldn't be alone during his recovery. He hasn't moved from the chair in our living room since. My roommate and I do EVERYTHING. He wakes us up at 4 and 5 AM to go get him breakfast. We "have to" drive him anywhere he wants to go. If the doorbell rings, he yells at one of us to answer it even though his chair is 10 feet from the door. All he does all day is watch Faux Noise or read his bible. He doesn't help pay any of the bills, buy food...Anything. Once in a blue moon he'll give us gas money.

He constantly rants about how "Socialist" the US is becoming, but in the next breath he'll curse the government for not wanting to give him SS when he could still work, or not being eligible for Medicare for two more years. He'll piss and moan about the "government take-over" of healthcare, and then 5 minutes later complain that he has insurance, so why should he have to pay his doctor bills? He carries on about how unions "destroyed" the economy, but he'll call the one he was a member of up the second he so much as thinks he needs help figuring out his retirement stuff.

Oh, and did I mention that he's one of those "The US was based on the Bible" Christians? He says all the time, and I quote, "Freedom of religion is destroying this country. People should be force-fed christianity until they get it. They'll thank us when they get to heaven."

He lives on every lie that dribbles out of Glenn Beck's mouth. If it didn't come from him, or Faux somehow, it's just more "lies from the Liberal media."

It's enough to drive you nuts. And as you can tell from my long ramble, it is slowly pushing me into padded room territory. But thanks for letting me rant. I feel slightly better.

is the website in the OP a joke? Other articles include:

The 9 Biggest Conservative Lies About Taxes and Public Spending
Fox Slammed by L.A. Times -- 'Shouldn't Call Itself a News Organization
Corporate America's Plan to Loot Our Pensions Is the Latest Battle in Decades-Long Assault on the Middle Class

I'm not convinced that they aren't just as biased as what they're reporting about...

The opinion programming on Fox News is misinforming it's viewers and the news programming is reinforcing it? This is new information how?

Though the wording of this article and its related pieces hardly shout "Journalistic Integrity." Honestly they seem almost as biased as FOX news but in a different direction. How are they any better?
