Hi Escapist's! Im feeling like im in a bit of a bind. I have a reasonably paid job, im being trained on the job and getting certified but im not quite that happy. I was wondering whether I could use some feedback on what choice YOU would make in my scenario.

Option 1:

- Software Support Trainee for Business/Accounting Software
- Earning $17,000 AUD a year ($300 a week roughly)
- Completing Certificate IV in Information Tech. (Programming)
- 3-5 Year Committment

Option 2:

- Go to Uni and study for 3 years to get my Bachelor's Degree in Computing or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Teaching
- Work part time to support myself earning probably ($200 a week roughly)
- Get by knowing that's what I WANT to do, and not what I have to do as an Apprentice in Full Time Work
- Incur HECs Debt from the studying (paid off later with a job in the profession)

I am stuck in my second year Apprenticship doing a course that will be outdated by the time it is concluded. So i ask, what would you do? o_O

Go for it. More college will only get you higher pay and make you more likely to be hired. Plus, as long as you spend your money wisely $200 a week should do fine.
