Stuff you realized was bad even as a kid

I never remember enjoying Top 40 pop music. I grew up with parents that had great music taste, so my only contact with it would be Saturday morning television and even then I wasn't a fan. Some of my earliest memories are car journeys listening to the Beautiful South (it's a good thing my child's mind didn't understand a lot of the lyrics) and jumping around on the sofa to Iggy & The Stooges. I was always just given an alternative that was awesome.

I'm surprised at the number of people saying Star Wars, I mean come on the prequels weren't that bad........ Ok 'The Clones' was horrid, but the other two had Darth Maul and General Grievous, that counts for something right?......

kind of OT: I can't really think of anything I thought was bat right now but I do remember thinking 'Why do the bad guys in Spider-man and X-men only carry laser guns that stun?'

Clowns.

I've never liked clowns. Dressing up like a free-range loony doesn't make your animal balloons more enticing. It's weird. I'm pretty sure I was scared of them as a child.

The Pokemon anime. Sweet jesus that thing is bad. I liked it as a really, really young kid, but around 8-9 was when I though "wow, this is absolute shit!".
