Well, I was thinking of design issues rather than in-game pnishment. Like in GTA, the car control are ass, and if you go fast you WILL hit something, making the travel very start-stop. Maybe I just suck at driving? And I'll be darned if there was a fast travel in GTA IV, I never saw one...but again maybe I just suck.Trolldor said:..there isn't a punishment for going fast. Where the hell did you get that from?dogenzakaminion said:I don't like Rockstar sandbox games like GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption. They're tedious!! The controls are insane and there's so much travel...all the time. At least if there was no punishment for going fast like in Saints Row 2 (mixed feelings on this one though) it would be better but it takes forever.
Something I like...Modern Warfare 2. I know, I know, bring it on haters. I thought this game was better than CoD4 and better than Black Ops, and what made it great for me was that it brought back that old school multiplayer action where four friends would huddle in the couch playing splitscreen. Remember that, when your friends were actually in the room with you? Good times![]()
And both games have a 'fast travel' option as well...
I am aware of the RDR fast travel, but there was still so much horseback riding in the missions, and even then your horse ran out of stamina when going properly fast. I just found it to be annoying when playing. Those games had other flaws that made me not like them as well though.
