So many things!...

Films. I still spend far more than the average consumer on films, but since I got a lovefilm account I am making some serious savings, and the mountain of discs isn't growing nearly as fast anymore.

Alchohol, not because I have any moral issue with it but because of its cos and all the bloody regulations the government is throwing at it (espeically for people around my age group) to solve out serious drinking/violence problems

also Im surprised they just havnt outright banned smoking yet (they probably will)

There are a lot of things, but the one I notice the most is bad fast food because some of my friends waste so much on that.

I'm not buying as many books...

Fancy vacations. I love staying at home, doing basically nothing.
Haircuts. I have hippie hair.
MMORPG fees.

organic food
A thousand times this! Organic food is so expensive (and also imo: bad for humanity) I would have starved if I was to only buy organic.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only 15 year old I know that doesn't spend money on clothes. I wear old clothes (man I'm short) and handy-downs. Other than that:

- Cigarettes
- Drugs
- MMOs
- Comic Books
- Tabletop games (even getting into DnD is expensive now :p)
- Mad Magazine (I signed up for a years subscription only to find out the original Spy vs Spy has been gone for years)
- Apple Products
- DnF

Game related: TCGs and MMORPGs and in fact any new games that aren't on Steam or something. Seriously, if I really want it I'll usually get it on eBay or get it for Christmas, if I can wait, I'll wait till there's a pre-owned copy at EB Games.

Otherwise: alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, car parts, gambling...in fact the only real vice I have is food, but it's actually pretty bad, I still don't have any money at the end of the week. :p

my friend got me into yu-gi-oh recently, and this fear is exactly whatwas holding me back. Good thing is, though, I haven't bought a single card myself.

Clothing. I'm probably more into fashion than any male I know, and get more compliments on my outfits too.

All of them are suits from thrift stores. Woo!

Cigarettes. I might smoke one or two if I'm reasonably drunk, but I would never buy them and can't afford to support another addiction on top of steam sales and guitar gear. So many mates of mine are permanently broke because they smoke tobacco, and I honestly can't see that there are any positives to outweigh the negatives.

Oh! Fucking Greenpeace. They were a constant drain on my bank balance for about a year after a well spoken dreadlocked fellow tricked me with pictures of whales, and all I got in return was a few lousy stickers. So glad I figured out how to cancel the payments.

MMOs and the new Duke Nukem game. I heard that Duke Nukem Forever was coming out and thought to myself, "So, how are they going to ruin a game with good potential this time?" Then I say Total Biscut's WTF episode on its demo and knew it would be a colossal failure.

MMO subscription fees, because pretty much all MMOs are the same and demands that you spend at least 30 hours a week on them.

I'm glad that I don't spend any money on cigarettes, alcohol, video games and random shit that I don't really want or need. If I did, I would probably be broke... Oh wait, I DO spend all my money on those things and I am am broke. Well at least I don't spend any money on.... errr....

Smoking. Jesus christ, it is so annoying when people spend all their money on smokes, and then ***** at me for not giving them money for food cause they're now mysteriously broke. GEE, I WONDER HOW MUCH MONEY YOU'D HAVE IF YOU DIDN'T SMOKE SO FUCKING MUCH.[/venting]
Oh yeah, I've got a friend who is constantly broke (mainly due to not working since finishing school a year ago but let's skip that) but somehow she always manages to buy cigarettes. 'Tis funny.

So I'm gonna go with smoking, drinking, clothing and whatever else people use to buy.
I need my money for comics and DVDs damnit! And nerd clothing which I don't count as "clothing" but as an investion in my lifestyle.

A lot of things, cigarettes, an MMO with a monthly fee, I could list a lot of things. I can't understand why people pay so much money for some things.
