Yeah.

This is a stupid question with little to no discussion value.

Does the Oblivion Game of the Year edition come with the 1.2.0416 patch that was released on the 30th of April, 2007? I can't seem to get a straight answer. :/

In order to add discussion value to this thread, I'd like to know your impressions of Oblivion.

Personally, I hate the main quest, but besides that it's pretty fun and, as with almost all the Bethesda games, there's a huge modding community that's built up since it's release. I do miss my spear, however.

I am 99% certain that it does. I'd have to look for my box though.

And for better weapons and storylines get OOO. I am gonna redownload it, install it, and add to the already 600+ hours I've sunk into that game while the girl is out of town.

I looked at that. It didn't seem to mesh with my ideas of a fun game. Though I suppose the Demon Race and DMC Weapons mods might still be as brilliantly overpowered as they are now. >.> I guess I'll try it out. I can always uninstall it if I don't like it, right? XD

Ah if need be just open the console and type in tgm.. Trust me, after the first 10 or so levels it really takes off. But then I seem to be the only one who can hit level 10 consistently in about 2-5 hours...

O_O How do you manage that? I've got probably 3 hours sunk into my Breton and she's only level 2! Do you like, pick fights?

Well before I get too far into it, I don't play the tutorial dungeon anymore, I have a mod that spawns me outside of it, so thats a good hour off the time.

I always have athletics and acrobatics, and I pick either conjuration (the fastest advancing magic) or destruction (for the first levels its reasonably fast to level, then it drops off around skill level 50), sometimes both. Light armor, blade, sometimes adding bow (if not replacing blade for it), sneak, lockpick.

Sneak through dungeons, kill enemies, one will fall silently and the rest will take normal abuse with weapons once they spot you. Pick up everything you can, which isn't all that hard if you travel with the bare essentials and just sell the rest, sell it, do quests for cash. Fighters guild and occasionally theives if you can cope with a low sneak skill early on in the game. At least get a fence. Steal stuff, theres a few gems hidden. Such as behind the bruma throne there is that journal worth a lot of gold.

Now train major skills for the 5 times allotted per level, and random quests and dungeon crawling will pick up the other 5. Quite simple, and past level 10 I slow down, not really hitting 20 till near the end of most of the guild questlines, and only capping out around 25-30 before I start another character.
