Stupid Question,,,

I feel stupid for asking this question Escapist, but I just recently got LIVE, and am currently downloading Broken Steel. However, It's going A LOT slower then I had intended it to. I'm tempted to let it run through the night, but I literally got it back yesterday from the repair shop, and I don't really wanna go through that again.

It seems ovbious that if I turned the machine off, it would stop downloading, but...
Will it?

Once again, sorry for the question, but would one more knowledgable than I answer me?

No, it cannot download while turned off. Though that would be very convenient.

Really sorry about this, but if I did turn it off, will it resume downloading when i turn it on?

go to system in dashboard the go to power off (I think) and turn on backrground downloads it will download even though your system is off.

Ya you gotta enable background downloads from the last blade in the console settings. You will know it is working when you turn off your console the green light will still blink. And when the download is done the machine turns itself off (well the light stops blinking anyways).

Yes it can.

Enable background downloads under System Settings. It's what I did when I downloaded Fable.
