Stupid things in games

What are those small little thing in games that always annoys you and you can't get over it?

For me it's costume design, so many games I've played show people wearing a coat next to a character in a bikini, with not a hint from one of them about being hot of cold, also fighters in mini skirts don't make much sense either. The other is in RPGs, why the hell does a trained fighter have trouble taking out random woodland creatures, and why is a rabbit attacking me in the first place.

GTA (most recently: IV) - whenever someone gets out of their car and you shoot them, first they casually step out and then they fly backwards. I want them to be blown back inside the car.

Baldur's Gate 1 - right at the start. The rats in the side quest have way better AC than the guards there! Takes ages just to hit them once. Did someone at Bioware's finger slip when they were putting the numbers in?

Slippery controls. I want my controls to STOP when I stop holding the control stick.

Games that are so good that it practically dispenses Nostalgia Goggles. Yes, OOT was good, but it is certainly not the BEST GAME EVARRRR. That is completely based on opinion. My opinion is it belongs to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory or Saints Row 2.

Currently it's lack of maps or restrictive save slots.

Barring that, the weird random encounters (why do rats or spiders always attack? I've had spiders in my house and they did not jump at my throat). And when a shot to the head is not instant kill (if they don't wear helmets at least)
