I, as a not-so-humble asshole, ask you, that's right you, Adrian (Insert Yahtzee joke here)

Ask what you think are the funniest and dumbest trends you have seen.
Remember, everything here is an opinion. Unless it's true, like saying The Jonas Brothers are really a few girls in disguise who can't feel accepted among other women. (Haha. It's funny because I think it's true.)

I'll start.

I'd have to say Reality Shows, and obsession with Japan.

Also, threads like this.

BEAT YOU TO IT ADRIAN.

Man, how about parachute pants, or JNCOs. I longed for the day to see somebody get sucked into an escalator wearing that garb. Alas, it never happened.

What about those Orbitz fruit drinks with the gummy pieces floating in it? I really wanted to like it, I did, but the sickness incurred after drinking made it intolerable.

North Face fleece wear. I understand that they're comfortable, but it is one of the trendiest trends on college campuses ever. Also, jeans or sweats tucked into snow boots during the winter. Just for the hell of it, I'll throw Pokemon cards out there too. And I don't know about everybody else, but my grade school went through a yo-yo trend years ago, as well.

Why? Just WHY?
Why not? I mean, other than the fact that they should NOT be wearing shoes like that unless they are in the DAMN WINTER, I see no bad thing about it other than name.

Also, they seem to be cheaper, a good thing to buy in this sorta economy.

I'm not sure if it's a trend but it sure is just as irritating.
Pseudo-Intellectuals who get off on talking out of their ass about things they have no earthly idea how to begin to comprehend. There is nothing more annoying than being locked into a verbal war with someone who is so convinced their right about something they have no clue about, and not being able to literally just choke them till they shit.

Hackey sacks.
Kick a bag?
Fun.
Well, to be fair, you can keep them in your pocket and whip them out whenever. Very fun.

Dear lord, gelled hair. I can't even imagine why you would want that sticky goop in your hair. Makes it all hard and grimy, and... bleck.

Uh... Trends....

Emo-ism.

Yes.

Okay. If you all want to kill yourselves, why is there a culture based on you and yet, when you deny that you're 'emo', you just try to play up the drama. I know they're really faux emo in common society, but it's just sad.

Mister Fonzerelli begs to differ.

I know someone like that. The annoying wanker is simply toxic to even read. The asshat acts as if your the dumbest piece of shit in the world, and insults you for daring to think differently. Heres a more funny, less mind-blowingly stupid quote.

"It seems we're of two opinions. To stop confusion, we'll call mine the right one, and yours the stupid one."

And he argues the points horribly. He barely grasps things and he makes what would fill up a damn page here for every one of these one-post flame wars.

I'll never understand why people can't just agree to disagree for the most part. It's so much easier and less frustrating for the involved parties. And your right, they idiots are always the ones who have some witty retort for your actual information. They use big words they barely know how to spell and usually are the people in college classes arguing with the professors.

When i was a teen, it used to bug the shit out of me when everyone started wearing Dickies coveralls.

Nowadays, popped collars make me want to burn something. Also, the lame asses that layer shirts 5 deep. I've seen it.

Thank you for posting what may be the best example of that trend EVER!
