A boy and his blob: the title says it all.
Anyway, I think the "sim" line can be expanded here.
SimIsle: an interesting idea poorly executed.
SimTower: WHY THE FUCK DO HALF MY TENANTS MOVE OUT EVERY QUARTER?! Not to mention that a quarter is all of eight days, so I spend more of my time fixing things that aren't broken than expanding my building, not to mention going very much into debt for no reason. These people should be selling their condos to other people, not back to me! Again, interesting, poorly executed.
SimAnt and SimEarth: never played them, never heard good things. Spore had better be better.
SimCity: never really liked the original, love 2000 (note the lack of past tense), like 3000 well enough, gave up on 4 once my city reached equilibrium (I think my city profits all of $86 a year), and after the review of Societies, I wouldn't touch it with someone else's computer.
