I'd have to say BFBC2 is home to some of the most annoying teammates sometimes. And nothing annoys me more than getting stuck with a team of "snipers" Seriously, I hate getting stuck in a squad full of guys who do nothing but camp at our team's spawn. Of course, the hands down worst teammate I've ever seen was when my friend (who can fall into the sniper group) was playing BC2, and a teammate started getting in front of him every time he tried to take a shot. Of course, the same idiot killed himself with AT mines so he's not the brightest one is he?

bahahahahaha. You pretty much summed up most of my post with that.

The most team-oriented game I spent the most time on was TF2. And good god did I see a lot of deficient twerps in that game.

Oddly enough. They seem to be attracted to spies and snipers like flies on shit. Figures they pick the 2 classes of least use to the team when they're garbage at playing them. I'm fine with one guy trying and failing at playing spy. But when there's 3 or 4 dipshit spies who fail every single backstab and get each other killed, that's when I leave the damn game.

Then there's the spies who uncloak directly in front of my sentry gun.
With no disguise on.
Or run out of their team's spawn. Disguised as someone on my team. And does not cloak while he charges straight at us spamming medic. (Obviously he has a dead ring-wait, he's dead?)

Or the snipers who stay scoped in while I'm juggling them with rockets.
Or combat snipers who rush at pyros at heavies with their smg's.

I love tf2, but the fact that you need a team who isn't populated by morons can be tough to find.

Long sword/SwAxe users in Monster Hunter Tri. They just sit there tripping everyone, and they have some weird trip-proof thing whenever they are doing a combo so you'd get 2+ trippers spamming a monster (then getting buggered because they don't dodge, or go attacking my bomb or whatever) and no-one else can get in a hit. In case my footnote isn't obvious, I really hate longsworders and SwAxers. There have been a few cases where I've battled with talented fighters that favour those weapons, but those cases are few and far between, I'd much rather have a hammer user as my only ally than a full group of longsworders or SwAxers.
For me its the bloody lance users who think their only attack is the charge attack, which leads to hitting and knocking down their teammates more than hitting the monsters. Now, I'm a hammer user and I'll admit to accidentally launching teammates every now and then, but I at least try my best not to. These guys don't seem to give two craps about who they hit.

There was also the time my two teammates killed a monster on a capture quest even though I was yelling at them to capture it. The thing had even gone to sleep but they kept hitting it.

I cant remember the map name, but nI assume mos people know what im on about, lots of people camped tre in the beta and peole still cmp there now.

I dislike the mark and kill cam. You find a good spot to hide but it gets ruined becuse they can just spam that marker, then shoot you. Takes the skill ut of spotting them.
Huh, it's been a while since I've played BC2, but I don't remember Killcams... that would suck, indeed. // The map must surely be Heavy Metal (the vast, long valley) and I love it :) Not despite but because of snipers clogging the mountainsides. Playing as more of an assault recon, constantly moving back and forth along the bottom of that valley, it means easy kills, captures, defends and Oh-Look-A-Tank-Again for me :þ

I LOATHE people who constantly whine and complain about their team sucking, when their own K/D Ratio is sucking balls left and right, and how most of them are doing better. Not everybody plays the same way, and if you don't like it, then fuck you.

Every once in a while when I'm playing League of Legends I get the teammates who are pros and spend the entire match yelling at me about how bad I am. The sad thing is that they're in bot matches so I'm probably doing terribly because I'm testing a new champion or build. Also... anyone who feels compelled to kill me for the Sniper Rifle in Halo.
Ugh I have that plenty of times. Pick up sniper, find a nice place to relax and shoot, get shoot at by teammate, die, re-spawn, resist urge to kill. They are always bad with it to, that's the thing that annoys me the most.

I had one in TF2 earlier today. I was trying to build up my sentry outside the spawn when a heavy comes running straight towards me with a medic over-healing him. The heavy is blatently running towards me and has no business retreating with full health. Naturally it's a spy and I just think "why didn't that medic think it was odd that the heavy was not just going the wrong way, but also running straight for a sentry?"

On the flip-side, I also saw a "heavy" with full health running the wrong way calling for a medic once. He didn't last long.

Message to all TF2 players: spy-checking wins battles and it's as easy as shooting a teammate for fun.

I was playing firefight with a few friends in Reach and at the end of a round, one of my friends
decides to shoot me in the face with his sniper. His apology, "Sorry, I was only trying to hit your shoulder."

Runescape. In a 5 man dungeon, on skype.

One gormless fuckwit that one of my clanmates loosly terms a friend just stayed in the base and repeatedly made runes while we did all the hard work. Which took over an hour. Needless to say, we waited right up till we were going to kill the boss, then booted him.

I've never heard rage on voicechat before. And I've heard Dives.

I've rarely encountered those guys. I have been that guy when I was playing with my friend in the offline arena (I think it was against the rathian or something, eventually he made me play as a longsword). I think the worst non-team killers I've hunted with were a couple of greatswords against an uragaan. There was also me, with ... it was a poison or paralysis SnS I think, and a hammer. I place a pitfall trap, put down some bombs (big ones), it falls in, I set them off with a paintball, and then the hammer user goes and hits the tail because the greatswords are screwing around the head. Worst. Tactics. Ever. In the end we broke the head and that was it. Didn't even wound the tail. I mean, if you pitfall an Ura, and you have a hammer on your team, you don't hog the head. That's just Ura-101.

However, the worst was against a Barioth. I quick-speak that I'm going to set a bomb, so I put down my trap, try to place my bombs as it is coming towards me (and the trap), and what happens? I get hit by a longsword, with one bomb just placed and we both get launched. neither of us hit the Bari, the bomb was useless and no-one else was close because I'd just said I was placing a bomb.

Wow - I'd happily say around 50% idiots in PuGs is a fair assessment
Wow, that's pretty high. DAoC is only around 5% of PuGs, at least it was when I quit playing, and I only played Mids, so I don't know how Albs or Hibs would have been.

Of course, I was the healer, so that meant I was running the group, no questions asked. I don't care if you've got a buff bot. I don't care that you're the 3rd best Berserker on the cluster. I'm the healer, I make the rules. I control the mobs and the life total, which means I control the group.

We ended up catching a few guys who went AFK in the middle of a Battlegroup artifact raid, because we called it early. They weren't level 50 yet, so they were just in it for the XP, and a little bit of money. That was the last raid that the leader ran with those guys in it.

Something which impressed me recently was when I was playing Engineer on TF2 recently. I got backstabbed by a Spy just as I deployed my sentry, and expected it to be immediately sapped along with my dispenser and teleporter. After about ten seconds, my newly built (level 1) sentry killed him while I was respawning. As for cases of stupid players on my team, well, there are just too many for me to remember. One time I did have a little rant that I remember quite clearly:

"Good God man, I've seen some cases of spectacular stupidity in my time, but never have I seen someone so tediously and uninterestingly bad as this!"
