Subnautica 2 does not take long to remind you that pockets are apparently not a priority in futuristic underwater survival gear. You start with a pretty limited inventory, and once you begin scooping up resources, tools, and whatever else the ocean decides to throw at you, that space disappears fast.
Thankfully, you can expand your inventory very early in Subnautica 2, and the first upgrade is only a few lengths of breaststroke from your starting lifepod. The key is finding and using biobeds, which give you extra inventory slots when interacted with.
