"And you think we can get back in there, with that thing? Zeredare muttered while pointing towards the door. "Chances are by now they have already began destroying the escape pods, we wouldn't have any way to get back aboard the Great White."

His attention turned towards the hall that was in front of him, blank, empty and sterile. "Unless you have a better idea I suggest we start moving now."

Vfraar cocked his head to the side thoughtfully. The medic had a point. It didn't make sense that the mutants would try to kill them if their plan was to capture them, unless it was just to slow them down and keep them on the ship. They could also simply be trying to take the captain, and not the rest.

"They could just be trying to capture the Captain..." he said slowly, looking at Zeradare. "But he received his fair share of plasma during the battle. It may be that they simply wanted to get us on board and kill us, without committing suicide. In which case, they'll still probably try to escape, and we'll still be in trouble if they succeed." The idea of being trapped on an enemy ship crawling with mutants hundreds of light years away from the Great White was not a promising one.

"And by that logic, the escape pods will still be intact after we've gone and accomplished our task?" Vfraar asked incredulously. "I understand some of us may still have dreams of dying heroically in a blaze of fire and glory, but that's a child's fantasy. This is our last chance to abort. If we can get in there and retake the bay fast enough, we may still have an escape route."

Isaac looked at the Captain. "Sounds good. Who's got point?"

"If you can handle that thing outside then feel free to leave, just be prepared to face the consequences of desertion. That and there is little stopping our own ship from shooting you down, they are most likely in panic mode and ready to gun down whatever looks suspicious."

After finishing Zeredare started down the hallway, not caring if anyone followed him. "You can follow me or the lizard, your pick..."

Nouw arrived at the Captains position with the info when Mac said there was a random error and the servers were down hence destroying the info of the weakness.

"Damnit I have good karma!" He said sarcastically

He turned to Zererdare and indicated with a nod that he was with the Captain.

Isaac chuckled at the little Karma remark. "Nouw" he said, "If we had good Karma we would never have encountered this ship. But I see you point."

A shadow covered his face as Vfraar strode forward, his hulking frame muscling it's way through the others like a torpedo through seaweed. He made enough noise to cause Zeradare to turn around, by that point he was already standing right in front of the Nazar, staring down at him with fire in his now blood red eyes.

"I am a Talonisk warrior, and you are my leader, Zeradare. Whether or not I agree with what you say is beside the point. I will follow you, wherever it is you lead us. There should never have been a question of that." If his eyes could have shot lightning, they would have. "I do not turn on my men, or my Captain. I do not."

His visor closed down over his stony face and he turned toward the direction they were to go, hefting his rifle. Then, as they began to walk again, he switched to a private communication channel, between him and the Captain.

"But if you ever question my honor again, I. Will. Break. You."

"Captain, shall we go now?" He suggested.

"I shall take note of that for future reference, Vfaar." Zeredare replied over the link.

"Alright, we don't have much time left so listen up. Once we arrive at the engine room expect to face heavy resistance, I wouldn't be surprised if they have miniguns or snipers lying around. If we manage to handle the guards, Regrel, Lucia and I shall start sabotaging one of the engines, the rest of you shall have to keep watch for any patrols." He took a a deep pause before continuing. "If the engine goes down expect the gravity stabilizers to suffer, so make sure you grab onto something, you wouldn't want to thrown into an loose wiring.Once that is over with we shall make our way to their command center, kill their leader, steal whatever documentation they may have, and then we can go about the business of escaping. Reasonable?"

Having reloaded his launcher Regrel got to his feet, wincing slightly as he did so. [i/] I'm way too old for this, [/i] he thought. [i/]Few more years and I could be looking at retirment. Hell, most Grels have a desk job by seventeen.[/i]

"What are we waiting for then?" Regrel said impatiently, swinging the barrel of the heavy weapon up onto his shoulder. "Lets move."

Rezzea stepped forward, holding her swords.
"Aye aye Cap'n"
She said as she crossed her swords. She had stopped the plasma dozing, and threw the jar onto the floor where the door to the hallway used to be.

"Let's move"
She said as she acid plasma behind them began to make a cracking sound from all the metal and biochemical cells that were on the floor in millions, most of it mutant sweat and filth.

He reloaded all his weaponry and charged his suit.
