Sorry to keep you lovely ladies gentlemen waiting, I had a mind fart recently.
As the group proceed down the halls of the ship they faced no resistance, or for that matter, anything. The walkway seemed to empty and untouched, as if no one had every passed through, unfitting due to the current state of the rest of the ship. During the wandering the clock dwindled down to ten minutes until the collision was estimated, time was quickly running out.
The Sentinels came across a large bulk door with a neon sign reading

ENGINE ROOMI'm taking Yorg's suggestion on this one, I say round robin. No one gets to post a combat more then once, prevents clutter and keeps the thread clean. But remember, miniguns, if you rush you can kiss the top half of your body goodbye.

Soon enough, a rough picture of the ENGINE ROOM popped up on his HUD. He chose the best route to eliminate the mutants and decided, stealth mode will be a life-saver and quick and clean neutralizations will be most effective.

"Twenty three baddies inside." Vfraar said as he checked his HUD. "Six are gathered around the supposed minigun, which is aimed at the door. Six more are loosely patrolling around the edges of engines, four on the catwalks above. Two are standing guard on either side of the door, the five left are standing at random places around the room."
He thought for a moment, looking at his map, then spoke again. "Rezzea, Nouw and Aza, there are several ventilation shafts leading into the room, above the catwalks. Take your pick. You'll have one minute to get into position, then Regrel here will blow the door down and toss a grenade in. As their attention is directed at us, out here, you three will take out the minigun from behind. After that it'll be a walk in the park."

Isaac listenned to the plan, and looked at the map displayed in his HUD. "What happens if they get reinforcements? Maybe would could kill the mutants and then use the minigun on the inevitable counter-attack."

"I can see why you were hired to be my CC, Vfraar." Zeredare said gleefully as he checked his rifle. "Also, Isaac's plan should go into effect once we take the room. That kind of fire power could really prove to be useful."

"Good thinking." Vfraar replied, glancing at Issac. "The infiltrators won't take out the minigun itself, simply kill the mutants manning it. If any more try to jump on, kill them too. By that time the erst of us will be in, and the room will be secured fairly quickly. The only thing we really have to worry about is keeping them off that minigun."
He glanced at his HUD. "Rezzea, Nouw, Aza, two of the vent shafts are that way, around the corner, the other two are the other way. Take your pick and get in there quickly. Make sure to tell us if there's anything unexpected in there, like another one of those super muties. You have one minute, starting now."

He quickly chose one of the vents and climbed into it. Before he knew it, he was at the end of the cramped vent. He looked in the room and saw fairly light resistance. But what ticked him off was the open door.
"That ain't good" He muttered.
Over the speaking system, he informed Vfaar about the open door. It might of been paranoia, but you can never be careful when in an enemy ship. One that just might be eusocial. Probably not, maybe more like Bull Ants? of the 21st century. Nevertheless it was still basic precaution.
"I'm going in" He told the team and silently jumped out and into the floor in crouching position.

He took down the nearest mutant, the others didn't notice it which is luck. He shot down two more and that alerted them but the problem was... they couldn't find him.
He ran towards them and dropped a grenade, and shot down one of the "guards" of the mini-gun and then retaliated into the shadows, waiting for the others in stealth.

I might be doing double "Action" post but because I was the first to post I can't take down the whole mutant guys by my self so I'll have to wait
Regrel nodded at Vfraar's orders. As several of the team bagan to climb into the vents the Grel took position next to the door. Taking several rough metal disks from his belt he began to place them round the frame of the door. As he raised each disk several thin diamond tipped metal spikes extended from it's base and inbedded themselves into the frame, fixing them in place.
Once all this was done he crouched down and took what looked like a tipless bullpoint pen from his pouch. With his thumb on the button he waited for the team to take possition.

Glancing at the time, he checked his gun, reloading the energy pack and flipping the switch to full auto. "Thirty seconds. Everyone in position. I'll take point, Lucia come behind me. Make sure you all cover your sectors." He looked at his HUD, seeing that all the infiltrators were in place. A few of the mutants had even been taken out already.
"Fifteen seconds."

Aza worked quickly, sliding quickly through the vents, he looked into the Engine Room from one of the air vents in the corner of the room
"Looks like your usual array of mutants from my angle"
Aza whispered into his communicator as he scanned the room with his rifle

Vfraar was through the door before the second grenade went off, SenStick held in one hand like a shield to protect him from the blast. Running sideways along the left wall, he lowered the melee weapon as the concussion subsided, opening fire with his rifle one-handed. A sheet of plasma swept across the room at Talonisk waist level, pelting anything and everything in the opposite direction of the old lizardman. It was more than sufficient cover fire to allow the rest of the squad to rapidly filter in on his heels unmolested, which they did with trained precision and speed.

The mutants manning the powerful weapon were, unfortunately, behind a blast shield, and so all he could do now was wait till Aza, Rezzea, and Nouw took them out from behind. Luckily half of the mutants in the room had already been dispatched.
Isaac sprinted into the room behind Vfraar, but he moved right. He had gone aboit 20 paces when the minigun went loud. Bullets went every which way, some far too close for Isaac's liking. He quickly jumped behind a control panel, and waited for the stealth team to shoot the damn thing.
Taking careful aim, Aza fired upon two mutants hiding behind the blast shield taking them out with one shot each.
However, it alerted the other mutants that a sniper was on that side, so they quickly moved out of his line of sight
"I've lost visual on the targets behind the blast shield, however the others should have easy shots at them now" Aza reported into his communicator, looking around for any stragglers
