I figured that this would be a low budget indie kaiju flick, turns out this movie is just an indie film with a really expensive looking tokusatsu moment in a dream sequence, AND IS AMAZING FOR IT! It takes some serious balls to make a monster movie and then say, "there is no monster" to instead be a drama that just happens to repeatedly mention a monster. I haven't watched it all the way through yet (wrong expectations), I intend to return to it in full but I can still recommend it from what I saw. That was my inspiration for the tread, what do you guys have?
