I've only seen maybe 5 recommendations for Kid Icarus: Uprising.
That's not enough. We need more recommendations for Kid Icarus: Uprising.
The control scheme is the weakest part of the game, and not nearly enough to be a breaking point, especially when it can be adapted a bit to suit your tastes. The game is packed with content, with (for Nintendo) an epic storyline, a great astetic and decent graphics (seriously, a handheld that doesn't cost hand over foot to make but looks like a solid Gamecube / PS2 Title), the most bombass soundtrack ever, and lots of depth in terms of gameplay. Quite frankly, it'll probably be the closest we ever get to a 3D Smash Bros, and I'd consider it Super Smash Bros 3.5. I'd like to think that's pretty damn good praise if you ask me.
Seriously, Kid Icarus: Uprising. Get it. Get it now. No, get it yesterday. I liked the game so much, I played it for what felt like 2 solid years before I could finally put it down. And I am now a devoted servant to the Goddess of Light.
