I was bored today and decided to muck around with some old computer parts. I found a video of a USB powered desktop fan made from a USB cable and a computer fan and built that. This got me thinking. What else could I make?

So. Any suggestions for some simple home made contraptions?

A flamethrower.

Seriously.

Ive allso made a bow and a crossbow. The bow is very impressive looking (steampunk style). It has a few moving parts. Its very inacurate tho. (i dont have it anymore, sold)

The crossbow is the opposite. Not too fancy looking, but it can fire through a window and still wound the target.

Oh and the bow is made allmost entirelly out of the stuff i've found in my garage. (bicycle parts, aluminum, wood) I used a real bowstring tho.

Bio-diesel for your lawn mower???
Alcohol???

Well, you could construct a Sniper Knife:

My prototype design is working perfectly and I am merely waiting for government funding to start full scale production.

Ok, I have to ask this, when could you possibly need a zooming feature on a close-range weapon. Also ... when they are mass-produced, do you think you could send me one???

Besides, everything is better with a zooming feature!

And of course I will deliver to all customers, but no Diners Club Cards please.
