Suggestions for sim games ?

I recently reinstalled The guild europa 1400 and the Guild 2 Pirates of the european seas and they're pretty fun, for those who like the genre.Since there's almost no games in the same "genre" as these i was wondering if people had any suggestions of something in the same category as theses ? (if you know them, most people don't...)

The Sims is a good, albeit obvious one.
If you're looking for a military Sim., I recommend Operation Flash Point or Arma II.
Sorry if that isn't what you're looking for OP, but you were a tad vague on what type of Sim you're looking for.

Yeah, i was actually looking for some kind of "business" sim (yawn, i know, but i like thoses ) The guild 1400 was an exemple but the whole 48 people that knows what that game is aren't here obviously
